Welcome to Sources' WorkBC Employment Services Centres

Under the Employment Program of British Columbia (EPBC), Sources' WorkBC Employment Services Centres are funded by the Government of Canada and Province of British Columbia and provide free, client centered and integrated employment services supporting persons who are unemployed and seeking to obtain and maintain employment.

WorkBC Employment Services Centres across the province provide information, services, programs, and support to help you find, and keep a job.

 
 

Free Employment Services

 
 
 

Services include:

•Self-serve Resource Centre

•Employment Counselling

•Job Search and Career Planning Assistance

•Employment Preparation Workshops

•Funding for Training / Certification

•Self-Employment  Programming and Supports

•Job Start Supports (clothing, tools, transportation)

•Wage Subsidy Services

•Funding for Adaptive Equipment and Workplace Accommodations

•Apprenticeship Training Financial Supports

Eligibility for Services

 
 

Eligibility Requirements:

•Live in the Cloverdale or White Rock/South Surrey Area

•Unemployed

•Underemployed; working less than 20 hours a week

•Legally entitled to work in BC

•16 years of age or older and not a full-time student.

 

Includes Unlimited Use of Resource Centre: 

•Computer workstations

•Internet access

•Telephone/scanner/fax

•Job postings

•Job search resources

•Labour market information

•Referrals to community supports

Sources Community Resources Society is a community-based non-profit organization. We have been providing help, encouragement and hope for individuals and families in White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Prince George and beyond for 40 years.
